HOW TO GET RID OF PIMPLES IN 8 EASY STEPS!



 
   A pimple is a kind of comedo and one of the many results of excess oil trapped in pores. It is a normal condition that affects most people and can also come along with puberty.
    They are sometimes inevitable but can be reduced or prevented by employing the following measures.



1. GOOD HYGIENE.
      Good hygiene includes regular washing of the face with cleansers which help to reduce the amount of dead cells, and other external contaminants which contributes to the development of pimples. Apart from cleansing your face regularly, it is also advisible to change your pillow case weekly, and avoid getting touched in the face by strangers or even close relations. People get in contact with bacteria by wiping sweat from their face and cleaning dusty objects with their hands without washing it.




2. DON'T POP IT.
       This is the act of bursting or popping pimples with one's finger. It leads to the introduction of bacteria into the pimple thereby creating more pimples and scars.  Noticed? So it is advisible to let those minor pimples run through their life span.





3. USE ICE.
       Ice can be used to reduce the redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples. It helps in improving blood circulation to the affected area, and in tightening the skin pores. It also removes dirt and oil accumulated in the skin. Place the ice on the affected area, then leave it for some seconds. Repeat process.





4. AVOID/REDUCE CERTAIN FOODS.
     Foods like bread, chips, chocolate, milk, soda, ice cream, pizza and some oily foods causes pimples on the face. It seems impossible not to eat atleast one of these food, but try to reduce their intake to at most twice in 3 weeks.




5. USE LEMONS.
      Lemons are known to be rich in vitamins C. It's juice helps dry pimples up fast. Avoid using bottled lemon juice with preservatives but use fresh lemon juice from an actual lemon.





6. DON'T USE TOOTHPASTE.
      Toothpaste seems like an effective treatment because it dries the skin out when applied to pimples. However, dry skin is not a healthy skin. Sometimes the ingredients can cause redness and burns to delicate skin. Even if the pimples shrinks, toothpaste on pimples threatens your chances of a healthy skin. So don't be deceived, it only causes red, irritating peeling around it.




7. USE TOMATOES.
      Tomatoes are very common and rich in antioxidant called lycopene which protects the skin and also performs the job of an anti-ageing substance. It reduces redness and cellular damage.




8. GARLIC.
      Garlic contains antibacterial properties which helps to battle pimples. However, do not use it without grinding. Extract the juice after grinding and dilute it with cold water, add aloe vera gel to it. Carefully use it on affected areas in the skin to treat pimples.
